Being the middle brother in a line of three, the Classic Accessories Colorado XT is boat to be desired. Not only has it been built with all of the accessories a fisherman would enjoy, but its sleek and sporty design will get you moving around the lake in style. Stick with us as we pour through all of the details this inflatable boat has to offer.
The chair that comes on the Colorado XT comes with a padded seat for comfort and folds down for transport. Footrests are attached to the frame, and like the seat, are adjustable to accommodate all sizes. Along with the boat comes a set of stainless steel oars that fit nicely into bronze oar locks. These oar locks can also be adjusted into one of three positions.
Storage is something that was definitely not overlooked either. The side pockets are removable and are made up of 20 pockets all together, including two drink holders that are insulated. Directly behind the seat there is a wire basket for storage that also doubles as a battery platform. With performance in mind, the Colorado XT comes with a sturdy two position motor mount for those who wish to upgrade to a trolling motor. It also comes equipped with a transport wheel and front retention cord to help you move it around. This wheel tucks nicely up under the storage basket to be out of the way while fishing.
An anchor system complete with a fillable mesh bag, cleat and pulley controls can be attached to either side of the boat. For the fly fisherman, the XT comes with a stripping basket that can be either mounted on the side or across the lap. Micro-slit fly patches are also included that are detachable. Need to free up your hands? The rod holder that comes with this boat will hold a sturdy grip on your pole, and can be mounted in three places for customization.
Just like the other models in the Colorado line, the XT is a sound 9 feet long and 5 feet wide. Between the fisherman and his or her gear, you can safely fit up to 400 pounds aboard. The powder-coated steel tube frame brings a rigid and durable quality to the design. With abrasion resistant, PVC vinyl bottoms and nylon tops, the pontoons are set to handle the elements. The bladders are resistant to both cold and hot temperatures, taking the inflation time and quality to the max. Each bladder is also fitted with a combination valve that allows for both quick inflation and deflation.
When it comes to items like this, the question to answer is always, ‘Does the quality of product match the price tag?’ In this case, we’d have to say that Classic Accessories has not disappointed in that regard. Given that it is designed with the avid fishermen in mind, this boat comes locked and loaded with just about everything you would and could expect it to. Then they went the extra mile to make sure the customization of everything from mobility to comfort was available as well. Again, as with most boats of this caliber, the setup time of around an hour or so is not by any means the most ideal, but it is well worth the effort once you get to take this bad boy out for a spin. We chalk it up as a winner in our books, so if you’re ready to get a little more serious about your fishing trips, go with the Classic Accessories Colorado XT!

If you’re finally ready to get serious about your fishing and go with the top of the line inflatable pontoon boat, then the Classic Accessories Colorado XTS is the craft for you. This boat is a fisherman’s dream and will get you to any destination you desire on your favorite fishing hole.
The Colorado XTS comes locked and loaded. One of the first features to mention is the seat. Not only does it have a padded seat, fold down and swivel, it also adjusts forward and backward to enhance the comfort and experience. There are also two adjustable foot rests to further allow for anglers of different heights. Once the user is comfortably seated, the attention can shift to the set of stainless steel oars included with the craft. Built with the utmost attention to detail, the oars fit nicely into oar locks that can also be adjusted into three different positions.
You can’t look over this boat without noticing all of the storage capabilities. All together there are 20 pockets on the Colorado XTS, and even two insulated drink holders. In the rear there is a wire storage basket big enough to tote gear and hold a battery. A two-position motor mount is also provided. Underneath the rear storage area is a stowable transport wheel. This allows for added ease transporting the boat from the back of the truck to the water.
For added stability on the water, the XTS is equipped with a two-position integrated anchor system. The anchor system comes with a fillable mesh bag, a cord and a pulley. A removable stripping basket is next on the list, with the ability to mount on the side or across the lap. Detachable micro-slit fly patches and a bladder patch kit are also in the box just in case they might be needed. Or course, not fishing boat would be complete without rod holders, however, the Colorado XTS takes it to the next level with the ability of the rod holder to be mounted in six different positions.
Once fully assembled, the Colorado XTS sits at 9 feet long and just under 5 feet wide. This nice sized pontoon can accommodate up to a 300 pound individual, and a total of 400 pounds between the user and his or her gear. The frame is made of powder coated steel making it strong and durable. The pontoons are abrasion resistant, made with a PVC vinyl bottom a tough nylon top. The bladders are both heat and cold resistant. The zippers for the bladders have an internal flap that makes them snag proof, and the seams are made with rot-resistant thread with reinforced critical seems.
Put down your toys boys because this boat is for the men of the bunch. For the price that this boat comes in at, you would it expect it to have all of the bells and whistles. I think it’s safe to say that the folks over at Classic Accessories might have out done themselves with this one. It has all of the features that you would desire in a pontoon boat as far as mobility goes. On top of that, the accommodations and features added from the angler’s standpoint are spot on.
Really the only negative thing that could be pointed out is that due to all of the awesome features, the assembly time runs about an hour. This could be a pain point if you are planning on setting up and breaking down every time you go to the water, however, if you are going on extended trips or even live close to the water, it only really needs to be done once. Other than that, if you are serious about fishing, and serious about the gear you use to catch quality fish, then the Classic Accessories Colorado XTS is going to be the best possible option for you.
Looking for a better way to get out on the lake this year to get to that awesome fishing spot? If that’s the case then the Intex 4 Person Mariner is the boat for you. With a rugged and sturdy build, this inflatable boat is designed to get you from point A to point B in both comfort and style.
As with most of the Intex boat sets, the Mariner 4 comes boxed up with all of the necessary components to get you out on the water in no time flat. The setup time for this model is about half of what other comparable crafts in its class coming in at an average of 5-10 minutes. In laymen’s terms, that means you’ll be out having a blast almost as fast as it takes everyone with you to get dressed for the occasion.
Space shouldn’t be much of an issue, as it can hold four average adults comfortably, or two fishermen loaded down with all of their gear. It comes equipped with a fishing pole holder on each end of the boat for ease of transport. Also as a part of the package is a 54 inch French Oar set that fits nicely into a 360 degree ore lock system to make rowing around a breeze. The ore locks are just a glimpse of the quality of design, as the boat itself is made to withstand more rugged conditions than other models that Intex makes.
Also included in the box is a gear pouch and a battery pouch to help with transport from your vehicle to the water front. You can’t forget supped up version of the hi-output hand pump that has the ability to pump up each inflatable chamber in about 60 seconds each. There is a rock guard and grab line included that will run the entire perimeter of the boat. If you might be thinking that all of the rowing might take its toll on you, there is also a separate motor mount kit that you can purchase, capable of holding up to a 1.5 HP outboard motor.
The Mariner 4 inflates to a size of roughly 11’x5’ and is rated to hold up to 880 pounds. Construction is one similar to white water rafts, starting with a polyester layer that is sandwiched between two extra thick layers of PVC vinyl. This is also the only inflatable model that Intex makes that comes with a 2 cm thick hard flooring for added durability and customization. The design allows fishermen to stand while casting and even allows for modifications to add things like swivel chairs if desired.
We’re not done yet, because on top of the sheer rigidity of the Intex Mariner 4, the blend of material is also resistant to sunlight and even gasoline. The body is comprised of 4 inflatable compartments, with a fifth in the keel to help ensure a safe return to shore should there be an instance of air loss. In addition, there are also 3 inflatable cushions for added comfort while trolling the waters.
Overall, the Intex 4 Person Mariner is a well-rounded and solid product for the price point. It does come in at around $100 more than other models that Intex makes, but the added expense is well worth the unmatched rigidity that you get with the quality of design. There doesn’t seem to be much of anything to really critic about the boat other than the possible space issues with the combination of different size individuals and gear. All around, the Mariner 4 is a dependable and quality inflatable boat that will serve you well over the years to come.
There’s nothing like getting out on the lake or your favorite body of water when the weather starts heating up. Make it a more memorable and enjoyable experience with the Intex Excursion 5. The Excursion 5 is equipped with two built in rod holders on either end that are sturdy enough to hold a pole while traveling to your favorite fishing spot, or while kicking back waiting for a bite. Enjoy the wait while sitting on one of three inflatable seats, two of which have backs for you to rest comfortably while taking in the scenery.
Included with the boat are a set of 54 inch aluminum oars to help users navigate the open waters. The sides of the boat are also fitted with oar locks and holders to make it easy to store them when not in use, and keep them secure while rowing from one destination to another. Also included in this package deal is a hi-output hand pump that pumps air in as you pull up and push down, along with a gear pouch for ease of transport and a repair patch in case of an emergency.
Fully inflated, the Intex Excursion 5 is a whopping 12 feet long and 5.5 feet wide, and is capable of holding up to a maximum of 1000 pounds between people and gear. Having a run in with most of the average environmental elements should be a breeze as the construction of the boat uses a strong 30 gauge vinyl. With three inflatable chambers, the floor and two in the main hull, you can easily make it back to shore should you have an encounter with too rough of terrain and spring a leak. Inflating and deflating the boat is quick and simple with Boston valves on both of the main hull compartments. If you wish to upgrade the boat in the future, there is a motor mount available for purchase that will allow you to add up to a 3HP motor, which is perfect for those traveling longer distances.
The Intex Excursion 5 is an all-around great buy for the family or group of friends looking to have a laid back time out on the lake. This boat set is a hard bargain to pass up given that it comes ready for action with minimal setup time. Just like the smaller four person model, you might have to try and avoid rough terrain since the materials are designed to thrive under your typical boating and fishing conditions. Other than that, good times are on the horizon with this best-selling inflatable boat.
If you are taking a trip out to the lake with the family, hanging out at your favorite fishing hole, or just enjoying the beauty Mother Nature has to offer, then the Intex Excursion 4 could be the inflatable boat for you. This four person boat is excellent for leisurely treks out on calm waters, or even spacious enough to fit two fishermen loaded down with all of their gear.
First impressions are that the Excursion 4 comes locked and loaded and ready for action right out of the box. Coming equipped with pretty much everything you need to get going with ease, you can go from box to water in as little time as it takes you to dump it out and pump it up.
The Excursion 4 comes with a fishing rod holder on each end of the boat that will readily hold a pole when passengers need to free up their hands or just want to relax while waiting to reel in the big catch. Relaxing won’t be an issue either, as there are two inflatable seats with backrests and clips to hold them in place, which provides extra comfort while on the water.
Rowing around is made easy with the 54 inch aluminum oars that are included in this package deal. Attached to the boat are both oar holders and oar locks to keep them firmly in place when not in use, and in a comfortable position when rowing. There is also a grab line that goes around the entire perimeter of the boat, as well as a sturdy handle on the bow for ease of carrying.
Included as an extra is a hi-output hand pump that pushes air into the chambers both when pushing down and pulling up. Also included is a repair patch kit and a gear pouch.
As it sits, the Excursion 4 is 10 feet long and about 5.5 feet wide, and has a maximum weight capacity of 880 pounds. The boat is made out of 30 gauge vinyl, which is strong enough to withstand most of the average environmental elements one might encounter while boating or fishing. There are a total of three inflatable chambers; two in the main hull and one in the floor. Boston valves are installed on the main areas of the boat, which are designed to keep air from leaking out as you fill the compartments, while also having the capability of unscrewing to rapidly deflate the boat when it’s time to call it quits. Though it is not included in the package, a motor mount kit is available for the Excursion 4 which will support the weight of up to a 3HP motor, allowing for easier travel for those going longer distances.
The Intex Excursion 4 is an overall great product for the type of recreational use it is advertised to be used for. The features included, as well as the extras that come along with the boat make this one heck of a package deal for those looking to get out and have a good time on the water. The only downside might be with some of the design elements like the light-weight aluminum oars and the vinyl body. These products aren’t typically designed to take a beating, so as long as you steer clear of the rough water environments, you can’t go wrong with the purchase of the Intex Excursion 4.
